Former director of Media and Communications, 2023 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Management Council, Kwara State chapter, Mr Abdulateef Ishowo has defected to All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ishowo said he has decided to support the ruling APC due to its reformative style of leadership and its political ideologies which aligned with youth developmental programmes.
” There is time for everything. It is time to move and align with a progressive minded party which I believe will move Kwara to the next stage. That is the APC. It has robust programmes for the youth , especially the ones in Kwara.
” I hereby declare my support for the party. I believe good governance shall continue come the year 2027, which is another established general election year,” Ishowo said.
The defection of Ishowo, a prolific writer and public affairs analyst came at a time the leader of PDP in Kwara State and former Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki is leading the efforts to reorganise the PDP.
