Traditional rulers and other dignitaries gathered in Abuja at the weekend to celebrate the birthday and humanitarian contributions of Princess Chetachi Nwoga Ecton, the global chairperson of the International Women Power Conference (IWPC) and CEO of WIN and ELIMH Foundation. . She was honoured for her dedication to empowering women, children and vulnerable groups across the country.
The event which started Thursday and ended Friday, had an array of traditional rulers from all regions of Nigeria, including the Obi of Onitsha, His Royal Majesty, Igwe Alfred Achebe; chairman of the Imo State Council of Traditional Rulers, Eze (Dr) E.C. Okeke, and the Sapeyi of Garki, Abuja, Alh. Usman Nga Kupi.
They honoured Princess Chetachi for her work in philanthropy and social advocacy.
Her projects include the Mission of Mercy, Seed of Life, Free Medical Mission, and Back to School Program, which have brought relief to widows, orphans and marginalised groups across Nigeria.
