Plateau State governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has officially unveiled a multi-million naira shopping complex and a modern motor park on Bukuru Expressway.
The project, constructed by the Jos South local government area, aims to enhance orderliness, curb crime, and boost revenue for the local administration.
At the ceremony yesterday, Governor Mutfwang stressed the significance of the initiative in fostering a conducive environment for business activities.
He commended the Transition Committee Chairman of Jos South LGA, Hon. Peter Vwang Dung, for his commitment to completing the project, which was initiated in 2014 during his tenure as chairman but remained unfinished.
While calling for more collaboration between the government and traders, especially those at the Terminus Market, the governor urged cleanliness to ensure a favourable atmosphere for commerce.
In his remarks, Hon. Peter Vwang Dung, the transition committee chairman of Jos South Local Government Council, extended a warm welcome to the governor and his delegation.
He disclosed that this marks the second project commissioned by Governor Mutfwang in Jos South. He expressed gratitude to the people for their unwavering support to the Mutfwang administration in the state.
