Odey made the pledge in an interactive session with journalists on Monday in Calabar, promising to redouble her effort in the service to the State.

“Working with the governor has been a worthwhile experience and great opportunity to serve the state,” the former Channels Television reporter stated.

The Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria graduate of Theatre Arts gained her first media exposure as a Corps member at NTA Sokoto Network Center. Due to dint of hard work, the management of NTA engaged her as a staff, where she began her journey in the media industry and was later posted to Calabar.

Imani Odey prides herself in “Community Reporting” what most people refer to as human interest reporting and was privileged to cover and report hundreds of stories of which many yielded positive impact on the society.
