The trial involving rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has been adjourned to April 8, 2026, by the FCT High Court in Life Camp, Abuja, in a N2 billion civil suit filed against him over alleged assault and battery.
The case, instituted by fellow musician Kraziecent, whose real name is Ogbogiri Okey Levi, could not proceed as scheduled due to ongoing renovation work at the courtroom. Despite the delay, counsel for both parties, Uchenna Ojembe for the claimant and Taiwo Akinsulie for the defendant, were present and agreed on a new date convenient to all parties.
According to court filings, Kraziecent alleged that the incident occurred during a public event in December 2024, where he claimed he was violently assaulted while taking photos and videos. He further stated that the encounter caused emotional distress and led to damage to his iPhone 15 Pro Max.
In the civil suit, the claimant is seeking an order compelling Odumodublvck to cover medical expenses incurred after the incident, alongside N2 billion in damages. He also requested that the rapper issue a public apology across his social media platforms and in two national newspapers.
The matter is expected to resume hearing in April, as both parties prepare to present their cases when proceedings officially commence.
