The chairman of PCRC, Iheanyi Igboanulam, made the appeal in an interview with LEADERSHIP Friday after inspecting the newly installed solar-powered street lights at Ndiegoro, CPS, and Ogbor Hill police stations, and the Scissors Squad Unit, Aba.
He lauded the facilitator of the lights, Akachukwu Ucheonye, who is the member representing Aba Central constituency in the State House of Assembly, for the gesture.

The chairman, who described security as a collective responsibility, charged the formations to ensure adequate and proper protection and maintenance of the lights.
Similarly, Ucheonye said the project was part of his efforts to partner with the police to ensure adequate security of lives and property in the constituency.
He explained that lights were the project‘s first phase and that the second would soon commence, praising the chairman for the inspection.
In their separate responses, the officers in charge of the formations, Frank Omelu, Chidi Okpalaeke, Michael Ayuba, and Emeka Ogbakin expressed gratitude to the legislator for the lights.
