A campaign organisation for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has reassured Nigerians and party supporters that the crisis rocking the party will be resolved before the general election.

Secretary of Planning and Organizing Committee on book presentation on Atiku Campaign, Frank Onuoha who made this known during a presentation of three books on the life and time of Atiku Abubakar, which would be launched on Wednesday (today), described Atiku as the most qualified presidential candidate with excellent past performances to lead Nigeria in the next administration.

Onuoha, while describing the crisis within the party as a way of propelling the party to victory during the election, noted that internal crises are always bound to happen in any progressive party that has the potential to win elections.

He assured that the group and PDP National Executive Committee (NEC) are working underground to ensure the crisis between governor Nyensom Wike and  Atiku Abubakar is settled before the elections, adding that despite the crises the party’s unity is nonnegotiable and will come out victorious during 2023 General Election.

“There is no political party that has the potential of winning elections that will not have a crisis. This crisis is what makes the votes come out because each of them will be fighting to mobilise their area and then the victory will be assured.”

sue between the two of them will surely be resolved before the election. That is one assurance we have.

“We have seen worse issues in PDP, the moment you see all these things going on in PDP, the day, the party decided to resolve it, once they walk into that Wadata house, the Angel of peace will fall on them and will they will come out of the meeting happy, shaking hands and hugging. That Angel of peace is still there and will do it for us,” he said.

He further said if there was peace in PDP Wike might not be mobilizing people the way he is presently doing. “Now he is visiting every local government, calling all traditional rulers, because he wants to make sure that the votes can come out and it will come out in favour of PDP. Even when you listen to him, he said he is not going to any other party except PDP.

“Even the APC that has released their presidential campaign council, the NWC is rejecting it. So, which one is worse? So, be rest assured, we will surely resolve the matter and go into the election peacefully as one family.

“PDP is indivisible and it is the longest party in Nigeria. Nobody has lasted the number of years the PDP has lasted. Because PDP is not anchored by the individual, it is a vehicle that you walk into and it takes you to where you want to go.”

Also, Senator Lee Meeba, a member of the Committee and member Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), while speaking, stressed that Atiku is the unifying factor, because of his behaviour towards his family, friends, and the nation.

“If you listen to the radio, watch television and read the newspapers, you will not hear any statement from Atiku replying to any stone that has been thrown at him. That is the behaviour of a unifier.

“He is a symbol of unity and an example to the youths, old and elderly, that is the quality of a unifier. A unifier takes the punches and shots and does not fight back so that when it is time for reconciliation, there will not be anything pointed out that he said about you. That is why reconciliation is very easy when it involves Atiku,” he said.
