Reacting to the award, Director General of NIMASA Dr Dayo Mobereola in a post on his official X handle @MobereolaD, dedicated the award to all members of Staff of NIMASA and acknowledged the support of the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy in providing the right framework for the Agency to create an enabling environment for local and foreign investors in the Nigerian maritime space.

“This award from PEBEC and by extension the presidency is a call to serve more. I appreciate our Honorable Minister, Adegboyega Oyetola, CON, who not only convened a meeting between NIMASA and the PEBEC secretariat, but constantly kept us on our toes to ensure better service delivery to stakeholders. I also wish to commend members of team NIMASA and we know that this is simply a call to more service to our stakeholders,”Mobereola stated.

The Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) which is chaired by the Vice President, Kassim Shettima GCON, was established to remove bureaucratic constraints to doing business in Nigeria, and make the country a progressively easier place to start and grow a business.
