According to a post on the UNIZIK official Facebook page, Chief Anyaoku was received by the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Joseph Ikechebelu, alongside the Special Assistant to the Vice-Chancellor (General Duties), Professor AU Nnonyelu, who also serves as Director of the Institute.

During the tour, Anyaoku evaluated the progress of work at the site and held deliberations with university officials on potential dates for the official commissioning of the facility.

The Emeka Anyaoku Institute, when completed, will serve as a hub for postgraduate education and research in international studies and diplomacy to strengthen the institution’s role in global academic discourse.
