President Bola Tinubu’s son Seyi, on Monday evening, joined Muslim faithful to break Ramadan fast in Kano State.
As part of his Renewed Hope Youth Engagement (RHYE) initiative, Seyi Tinubu also launched a feeding programme aimed at supporting the less-privileged and people with disabilities (PWDs).
The event took place at Al-Furqan Mosque in Kano metropolis before moving to Amani Event Center for further activities.
Before the Iftar, Tinubu paid a courtesy visit to the residence of prominent business magnate, Aminu Dantata, where they exchanged pleasantries. He later paid homage to the Kano State governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf.
The special Iftar drew attendance from political stakeholders across party lines, including members of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) and the ruling New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in the State. Notably, the NNPP delegation was led by its chairman, Hashim Sulaiman Dungurawa.
The event also featured a performance from popular APC praise singer, Dauda Kahutu, a.k.a Rarara.
