Abutu said the effort yielded positive result as the operatives on February 21, 2025, at about 13:30hrs, swooped on their criminal hideouts within and outside Ado-Ekiti, where the suspects were arrested.

All the suspects confessed to committing the crime of vandalisation and stealing during investigation.

Abutu added that the State Commissioner of Police, CP Joseph Eribo, warned all criminally-minded individuals in the state to repent and turn a new leaf, vowing that criminal activities will no longer be tolerated in the state.
