Police Find Stolen, Abandoned Child In Abia

‎A girl of about four years old who was believed to have been stolen and later abandoned has been found in Mbutu, Isiala Ngwa, Abia State.

‎This is contained in a statement by the spokesperson of the state police command, Maureen Chinaka, in Umuahia, the state capital yesterday.

‎The statement said the girl was unable to clearly state her name or where she hails from. ‎It urged families or relations whose daughter is missing to contact the Serious Crime Investigation Squad in Aba for details.

‎In another development, the state command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has conducted a capacity-building training for 107 personnel of private security outfits in the state.
‎During the one-day training at Girls’ High School, Aba, the participants were encouraged to contribute their quota to ensure security of lives and property.
