Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has charged Christian leaders in the state to pray fervently for the success of the administration of President Bola Tinubu.
Mohammed, who is also the Chairman of PDP Governors’ Forum, said state governors can only be able to deliver on the mandate given to them if the APC-led federal government thrives to make Nigeria better and improve the wellbeing of Nigerians.
The governor said this while interacting with the Bauchi Christian community at the Government House.
“The issue of politicking is over. It is time for action. Therefore, what the country needed is a fervent prayer for our leaders to lead the country to the right path,” he said.
Mohammed also called on all and sundry to pray for the unity of all the political parties to enable them to work together to promote good governance in the state and the country.
Speaking, the senior special assistant to the governor on Christian Affairs, Pastor Luka Magaji, urged clerics to include the governor in their prayers to succeed as well as the victory of the governor at the Supreme Court.
