Return Kwara Sports To Glorious Days, SSG Charges Commission

The secretary Kwara State government, Alh Mahe Abdulkadir has charged the State Sports Commission to return Kwara Sports back to its glorious days.

AbdulKadir gave the charge when management of the sports commission led by the chairman, Bola Mogaji visited him in his office.

He noted that Kwara State used to be a force to reckon with in sports in the olden days as he tasked the commission to put in all it requires to achieve the task.

He lamented that gone were the days when fans and the populace alike used to be proud of Kwara athletes and follow their performances anywhere they go as it brought them a lot of joy.

The SSG noted that states like Delta that was created long after Kwara that are making waves in sports.
