Mustapha died yesterday in Abuja at the age of 76.

Tinubu in a statement by his spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, acknowledged the deceased’s contributions to the growth and development of the NCS and immense services to his Adamawa homestate, saying all will sorely miss him.

The president extended his condolences to the Adamawa Emirate Council, the government, and the people of Adamawa State on the traditional leader’s passing.

He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the soul of the late Alhaji Mustapha Alijanna Firdaus.
Meanwhile, Adamawa State governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, has condoled with the Musdafa royal family of the Fombina Kingdom over the passing of their son, Ahmad Aliyu Musdafa, former Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service.

The governor described the sudden death as shocking and paid tribute to the late Ahmad’s dedication and diligence as a thoroughbred officer, while condoling with the Lamido of Adamawa, Dr. Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa, brother of the deceased.

The governor urged the royal father and the entire family to be consoled by their brother and son living a long life. He fulfilled life as an accomplished public servant who rose to become the nation’s Customs boss and notable community leader.

“Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.
His exemplary service and unwavering commitment to duty will be remembered and cherished by all, especially his outstanding contributions, his exemplary service, and his dedication to the nation. We honour his memory, and his legacy will continue to inspire us all.”

“Alhaji Ahmed has returned to his Creator in peace and contentment, having produced worthy children who will proudly carry on his legacy of worthy and selfless service to their community, state, and country. I pray that the Almighty Allah will grant him eternal rest in Aljannah,” the governor said.
