Zuchu Announces Divorce From Diamond Platnumz Amid Pregnancy Rumours

Tanzanian singer and songwriter Zuchu has announced the end of her marriage to her colleague and husband, Diamond Platnumz.

Zuchu shared the update via her Instagram story, revealing that the couple has separated and is currently undergoing divorce proceedings. The singer stated that she reached the decision with a heavy heart after six years together, noting that she has chosen to prioritize herself, her health, and her music career.

“Hello, my GPG. My former partner and I are now separated and going through a divorce. I announce this with a heavy heart. After six years of being together, I have finally decided to choose myself,” Zuchu wrote.

The public announcement follows recent claims by Tanzanian lawmaker Baba Levo, a close associate of Diamond Platnumz, who publicly stated that Zuchu is pregnant.

The musical duo reportedly wedded in a private ceremony in June 2025. At the time of this report, Diamond Platnumz has not released an official statement regarding the separation.
