National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has deployed 2,050 corps members to Bauchi State for the 2026 batch ‘A’ stream 1 orientation exercise.
The state NYSC coordinator, Mr. Kufre Umoren, disclosed this to journalists yesterday in Bauchi.
According to him, registration of the corps members will take place from January 23 at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Wailo, Ganjuwa local government area of the state.
Umoren said the swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for January 23, while the orientation exercise will run until February 10, 2026.
He explained that only corps members who are properly certified as genuine graduates would be admitted into the camp, adding that discreet screening would be conducted to prevent impersonation or intrusion.
“The registration dates have been communicated to the corps members, and they are advised to strictly comply with all camp rules and regulations,” he said.
He warned that any corps member who violates the rules would be sanctioned in line with the scheme’s extant regulations.
The coordinator also cautioned corps members against late-night travel, urging them to prioritise their safety. He further advised them to be punctual, diligent, and comply with the prescribed dress code throughout the orientation period.
