Four female students of the Federal Government College (FGC) Birnin Yauri in Kebbi State have been released by  bandits after spending two years with their abductors.

Our correspondent gathered yesterday from a relation of one of the released girls that they were released early yesterday after payment of an undisclosed ransom to  the bandits’ kingpin by the parents of the four girls.

According to him,  the girls were released with each carrying two children and they have since reunited with their parents.

One of the girls revealed to her parents that they were forced to marry some bandits which necessitated them having babies.
