Famous sports consultancy agency, 5Stars Football, is set to launch a new initiative, Corporate Stars Football League (CSL), aimed at engaging the corporate sector in competitive sports while promoting workplace health, wellness, networking and productivity.

Mr Olumide Aturu, managing director of 5Stars Football, disclosed this, saying the competition will intensify across various industries in view of the compelling challenge for corporate employees to participate in regular football leagues.

“Many professionals in the corporate sector find it hard to balance their demanding work schedules with their passion for sports. Beyond that, there’s a need for structured opportunities for office team bonding. To meet these needs, we’ve created the Corporate Stars Football League, tailored specifically for the corporate world,” Aturu explained.

According to him, CSL is more than just about sports, but a strategic initiative aimed at boosting employee productivity and contributing to Nigeria’s GDP growth through workplace sports.”At 5Stars Football, we excel at driving friendly competition, connecting brands for increased return on investment (ROI) and challenging employees to perform at their best. We believe workplace sports can be a powerful motivator, pushing employees to strive for excellence while building teamwork and collaboration,” Aturu added.

The Corporate Stars League is set to kick off on October 19, 2024, in Abuja, after the conclusion of the annual 5Stars Premier League for youths on October 12. The league, according to organisers, has already attracted participation from major organizations such as CBN, PENCOM, TETFUND, Norrenberger, and FIRS for its inaugural season which promises to bring a fresh and exciting perspective to workplace sports in Nigeria.
