In recent developments, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has communicated with Donald Trump regarding trade tariffs. A spokesperson stated that the Prime Minister expressed his concerns during a phone call on Sunday
“The Prime Minister reiterated his position on Greenland, emphasising that security in the High North is a priority for all NATO allies to safeguard Euro-Atlantic interests,” the spokesman remarked.
He further stated, “Applying tariffs on allies for pursuing the collective security of NATO is wrong.”
In addition, Starmer also held discussions with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte today.
