Nigerian youngster David Temidayo Olorunfemi has joined Finnish giants HJK. The 18-year-old signed a two-year contract with an option to extend by a further year, arriving from Tripple 44 Football Academy in Nigeria.
HJK beat clubs from Sweden and Denmark to secure the striker’s signature.
Olorunfemi landed in Helsinki last weekend and spent a few days getting acquainted with his new surroundings before putting pen to paper.
The teenager is now eager for a successful spell with the club.
“It feels great to come here, this is a great opportunity for me. Striving towards domestic success and Euro competitions is exactly the kind of challenge I have been looking for.
“I can’t wait to help the team as best I can,” he told the club’s official website.
