A Los Angeles County Superior Court has granted pop musician Sabrina Carpenter a permanent restraining order against a 31-year-old man, William Applegate, who repeatedly tried to enter her home.
The judge ordered the suspect to stay at least 100 yards away from the singer, her sister Sarah, and her sister’s boyfriend George for the next five years.
The order was granted after the singer’s team presented evidence, including security camera screenshots, showing the man at her front door.
LEADERSHIP previously reported Applegate was first arrested on May 23, 2026, after trying to force his way into the house, but he returned to the property twice over the following two days before police intervened again.
Also, LEADERSHIP reported that the suspect appeared in court to oppose the request, claiming that the singer did not want the restraining order and that it was a conspiracy by the people around her. However, the judge rejected his arguments and approved the five-year protection order.
