Ekiti State governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, has approved the disengagement of all Technical Advisors and  Directors-General (DGs) of government agencies with immediate effect.
The affected officials are to submit their handover notes to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Olayinka Oyebode, said the disengagement, which came barely 24 hours after the dissolution of the State Executive Council, marks the completion of the disengagement process for political appointees serving in the administration, except for a few whose appointments have been retained in view of the nature of their assignments.
Governor Oyebanji expressed appreciation to the affected DGs and TAs for their support, commitment and contributions to the administration as well as the development of Ekiti State.
He wished them success in their future endeavours.
