He explained that they had already started fencing the club because of security challenges stressing that the major problem when they took over was the course which he said it’s being worked upon for the good of the game, so that, this club should be able to compete favourably with the best of the golf courses anywhere in the world”.

“like I said, when we came on board, my primary assignment is the course, because without a good course there is no club.”

Captain Ken revealed that several tournaments are lined up after the captains inaugural event like the Heineken golf tournament and ladies open among others.

“We have almost finished working on the course and tournaments will come from next month, and by the next two weeks we will have the Heineken Tournament, then, Maigwari, Epitome, Ladies Open, and so many tournaments coming up,” he said.

About 130 players participated in the one day tournament that ended with a dinner night and presentation of prizes.
