BREAKING: Naira Marley In Police Custody Over Mohbad’s Death

The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that singer and onwer of Malian Records, Azeez Fashola a.k.a Naira Marley, is their custody for interrogation over the death of another Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly as Mohbad.

This was disclosed on Tuesday by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Benjamin Hundeyin, on his X (formerly Twitter) page.

He wrote: “Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley has been taken into custody for interrogation and other investigation activities…”

Naira Marley also disclosed via his X account that he was back in Nigeria.

He wrote, “I’d like to share that I’ve just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation. It’s important I do my part for Imole. I’ll be meeting with the police with hopes for the truth to be uncovered and for justice to prevail.”
