Davido Mocks Edo Governor Over Comments On Osun Governor Adeleke

Nigerian musician Davido has reacted to comments made by Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo regarding his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke.

The exchange follows remarks made on Thursday, August 6, during an All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign rally ahead of the upcoming August 15 Osun State governorship election. While addressing attendees, Governor Okpebholo urged voters to remove Governor Adeleke from office, claiming the incumbent focuses primarily on dancing instead of governance.

In response early Friday morning, Davido addressed the criticism on his social media page by questioning Governor Okpebholo’s academic record, posting an image claiming to show the governor’s West African Examinations Council (WAEC) results, which highlighted multiple poor grades, including D7S and E8S.
