An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Edo State, Monday Udomoh has urged the new minister for Regional Development, Abubakar Momoh, not to relent in his performance which earned him promotion from his previous position  as minister of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

Udomoh, in a statement congratulating Momoh on his elevation, urged entrepreneurs and Nigerians to emulate the leadership qualities of the minister.

He expressed confidence that the minister will make an impact on his ministry, added that expectations of him are high.

The statement reads: “Indeed life ought to be lived by impacting lives and influencing people to look beyond themselves and serve with integrity and honour, this I and others have seen in the sterling qualities of Eng Abubakar Momoh and therefore I congratulate a remarkable leader and visionary, Momoh on his well deserved elevation from Minister of Niger Delta Development Commission to the pivotal role of Minister for Regional Development.

“This milestone not only exemplifies your personal commitment to serving our nation but also reflects the tremendous faith that the government and the people of Nigeria have in your ability to bring positive change across our regions.

“Your tenure as Minister for the Niger Delta Development Commission was marked by an unflinching commitment to addressing long standing developmental challenges. Through your innovative initiatives and a firm dedication to transparency, you’ve not only left a legacy in the Niger Delta region but also set a high standard of leadership and accountability in governance.

“Your focus on sustainable development, economic empowerment, and infrastructural transformation has brought hope to countless communities and has undeniably created a pathway toward prosperity in the Niger Delta.

“Your new role as Minister of Regional Development carries with it an expanded vision and a broader responsibility. As you step into this strategic position, we’re confident that your dedication, experience, and leadership qualities will continue to drive impactful policies that promote regional growth, unity, and economic resilience.

“Your commitment to inclusivity and empowerment will be crucial as you lead efforts to enhance regional integration, foster peace, and promote equitable development across the length and breadth of our beloved nation.
