The prestigious Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja hosted the 2025 African Iconic Women Recognition Awards (AIWR), celebrating excellence, leadership, and national impact. Among the honourees was Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Priscillia Thomas, who received the Young Iconic Security Personnel of the Year award.
Expressing her gratitude, DSP Thomas described the award as a personal achievement and a symbol of progress for women in law enforcement. “I was deeply humbled to receive this award. It celebrates the strength and determination of women worldwide who are breaking barriers,” she stated.
She reaffirmed her commitment to the Nigeria Police Force, highlighting the role of law enforcement in nation-building: “Our duty goes beyond enforcing laws; it’s about creating safer communities and building trust.”
