EFCC Bursts Cyber Syndicate, Arrests 14

Operatives of the Uyo Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have smashed a syndicate defrauding Nigerians and foreigners in Akwa Ibom State.

Disclosing this to journalists in Uyo on behalf of the agency’s chairman, Abulrasheed Bawa, the commission said no fewer than 14 suspected internet fraudsters were arrested during the sting operation.

The suspects arrested include Unwana Peter, Itoro Lucky Moses, White Solomon, Benjamin Inyang, Aniekan Akanawan, God’s-Favour Bassey, Moses Udiodua and Abasieyo Ndem.

Others according to the commission are; Adinkwu Destiny, Charles Joseph, Joseph Edet Eduno, David John, Ndiana Abasi George and Nsikan Victor.
