Emir Bayero Congratulates Danagundi on Appointment As New NPC Boss

The 15th Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, has congratulated Baffa Babba Danagundi on his appointment as Director General of National Productivity Centre (NPC).

Bayero, in a phone conversation with Danagundi, congratulated him and wished him a successful tenure in office.

“Your appointment is putting a square peg in a square hole, we have seen your performance as Acting Director of Kano Consumer Protection Council. You worked diligently against expired foodstuffs and illegal drugs in Kano

“You’ve also proven your capacity while at Kano Roads and Traffic Agency, you generated revenue for the government and sanitise our roads.

“I wish to thank Mr. President for this appointment, you will deliver good results,” Bayero said.

He also called on the NPC DG to exercise patience and run the affairs of his office with fear of God.

LEADERSHIP reports that Danagundi assumed office as the new Director General of the Centre on Wednesday. He pledged his total commitment to the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu administration.
