Professor Sani Yusuf of the National Agricultural Extension Research and Liaison Services (NAERLS/ABU) Zaria has advised farmers to adopt the use of organic fertiliser in their farms for agricultural development.

He gave the advice at the farmers field day on tomatoes organised by the BPZ-BP Ltd in conjunction with Kaduna State Agricultural Agency (KADA) at Rafin Tabo, Kurmin  Kogi in Ikara local government at the weekend.

He said the field day is to showcase the performance of the organic product named “Arisetech Soil Conditioner” which is purely natural without any chemical use in the farm such as fertiliser or herbicide.

According to him, with this development farmers will gain more if they returned to the organic product in their farming processes.
