The inaugural Supplier Forum of Aradel Holdings Plc, sought to promote operational efficiency in the energy sector, hence emphasising the need for further collaboration in building and maintaining sustainable partnerships.
The forum, which was held on March 27, 2024, in Victoria Island, Lagos also recognised outstanding partners and celebrated their demonstrated excellence, innovation, and commitment to the company.
Themed ‘Building Sustainable Partnerships,’ the inaugural Supplier Forum served as a platform to update the suppliers of the company’s future plans, as well as shed further light on the company’s core values (accountability, resilience, adaptability, diversity, excellence and leadership) and the pillars of Aradel’s operations being; resource development, operational excellence, capital discipline and innovation.
Aradel further encouraged its suppliers to partner with the company as it continues to pursue excellence in operations, waste elimination, competence and capacity development, utilisation of technology to create value as it grows its production and reserves thus aligning with Aradel Holdings’ vision to become the leading African energy company delivering sustainable energy solutions to support economic growth.
Speaking at the event, the general manager, Commercial, Mr. Lare Daramola, in his keynote address, said: “The theme reflects the significance of this event to us.
As we build with our partners, it shows that there is a focused energy around achieving an outcome. We are not just building for the present but also for the long term and partnership is important to us attaining this goal.
“We all come with different sets of skills but can harness that collective energy to achieve great outcomes for our shareholders, the business, and Nigeria as a whole.”
Awards were presented across various categories, including the CEO Excellence Awards, Supplier of the Year Awards, Most Innovative Supplier Awards, and Best Performing Community Supplier Awards.
Winners in the CEO Excellence Award category were VGA Services Ltd., C2G Consulting, Ikosh Nig Ltd., Bloomfield Law Practice, and Oasis Corporate Systems Ltd. Winners in the Supplier of the Year Award were Sola Abulu and Associates and Harmony Steel Construction Co. Ltd and the winners in the Most Innovative Supplier Awards were Geoplex Drillteq Ltd and Edemon Engineering Ltd, while the Award for the Best Performing Community Suppliers were won by Lauramac Nig. Ltd. and Edemon Engineering Ltd. Two suppliers, Finesse Events and Services and BLU Flamingo Media Ltd also received special recognition awards for their role in Aradel’s rebranding journey.
The inaugural Supplier Forum reaffirmed Aradel Holding’s commitment to nurturing collaborative and mutually beneficial relationships with its strategic partners who contribute to its operations.
In sustaining these partnerships, the company said, it aims to leverage the expertise, resources, and capabilities of its partners to drive innovation, efficiency, and growth.
The interactive session during the Supplier Forum created the opportunity for Aradel’s suppliers to engage with a broader spectrum of the Company. It was an opportunity to foster long-term relationships based on transparency, fairness, and mutual respect.
