The Patigi Emirate Development Union (PEDU) has described the emergence of Kwara State governor, Mallam Abdul-Rahman Abdul-Razaq, as chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) as nature’s way of rewarding good work and commitment to people’s well-being and upliftment.
The group in a statement signed by its national president, Salihu Umar Bologi, said Governor Abdulrazaq’s emergence as NGF chairman was a testimony that it is not only the people of Kwara State that are aware of his inherent competence and but also his colleagues in the NGF.
“PEDU noted with a sense of appreciation, the transformational good work of His Excellency in the infrastructural development in Patigi Emirate, particularly comprehensive rehabilitation of Patigi Secondary School and numerous primary schools, health facilities, including ongoing General Hospital, Patigi, SUBEB and TESCOM employments among other dividends of democracy being enjoyed by our people,” the statement said.
“Indeed, Patigi Emirate people are grateful and have no regrets for supporting the election and re-election of Mallam Abdul-Rahman Abdulrazaq for another round of four years for greater good of the people.
“We also in advance, celebrate with His Excellency on his upcoming Swearing-in for the renewed mandate by the people of Kwara State. We beseech Almighty Allah to grant him all that are required to effectively and efficiently discharge his duties diligently as the governor of Kwara State and Chairman, Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) as he has always done,” the statement added.
