A political group, Camphope Worldwide has commended All Progressives Congress (APC) member representing Orlu/Orsu/Oru East federal constituency of Imo State, Hon Canice Moore Chukwugozie Nwachukwu for displaying rare leadership qualities.
The accolades for Nwachukwu, who is the general overseer (GO) of the organisation, were made at the presentation of an appreciation letter to him at the National Assembly, Abuja, by the leader of the Camphope’s delegation, Hon Greg Ngobidi Nwosu.

Nwosu said Camphope was the brainchild of Nwachukwu, who founded and sponsored it as a political interest group for the election of Imo State governor Hope Uzodimma to the 8th Senate.
He said the organisation having achieved its mission, decided to honour Nwachukwu for the initiative and support given to Governor Uzodimma to realise his political ambition.
He said Camphope’s presence now cut across the country and beyond, adding that some selected state coordinators accompanied him to express their gratitude to the lawmaker.

Nwosu added that Nwachukwu had brought members of the organisation to political limelight in Imo State and across the country.
Some coordinators of Camphope described the lawmaker as a great emancipator and an idealist who gets results.

The mother-general of Camphope, Ambassador Kate Osigwe, said Nwachukwu is a man of hope who works when others are sleeping and discouraged.
She said the organisation brought her up and made her relevant in the political space of Imo.
Responding, Nwachukwu, who is the chairman of the House Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs, said Governor Uzodimma is his political role model and godfather, whom he will always support.

He said he is learning from Uzodimma’s school of thought, adding that the governor is an institution not only for the people of Imo but other Nigerians.
