The new chairman of Kaduna State Football Association (FA) Faiza Mohammed Abdullahi has assured that he is committed towards taking legitimate and proactive steps in repositioning football administration in the state.
He disclosed that even before assuming the position of leadership, he has been contributing his quota in that direction, adding that it will be much easier for him now that he is fully in charge.
Speaking with LEADERSHIP Sports in Kaduna, the very elated Chairman said, running of football in Kaduna State is not going to be business as usual, stressing that he is soon going to engage the government and all relevant stakeholders in his renewed agenda of repositioning football in the state.
“There has been a serious disconnect between the government and football administration in the State, am going to engage the government and other stakeholders and chat a way forward and return Kaduna State back to the good old days where we have Ranchers bees, Kaduna United football club among others playing in various leagues and making positive impact.
“We are going to hit the ground running, beginning by appealing to those who may have been aggrieved in one way or the other to come and join hands with us to build a new Kaduna Football Association that we will all be proud of, I also call on those who contested with me to put the election behind us and join forces together in repositioning the association.”
He assured of seeking synergy between all football stakeholders and lovers within and outside Kaduna State to bring in more football activities to the state.
