Kaduna NSCDC Deploys 1,500 Personnel For Peaceful Eid-El Maulid

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command, has deployed approximately 1,500 personnel across the State to ensure a peaceful, safe and incident-free celebration of the 2026 Eid-El Maulid scheduled for Tuesday.

In a statement issued by the Kaduna NSCDC spokesperson, Habeeb Badamasi, said the deployment approved by the State Commandant, CC Panam Musa Buba, will cover Murtala Square, Kaduna Metropolis, major junctions, strategic locations, places of worship and other identified venues across the state.

The State Commandant said the deployment is aimed at protecting lives and property, preventing crime, maintaining law and order and ensuring the overall safety of residents and visitors throughout the celebration.

“Personnel have also been directed to intensify surveillance, intelligence gathering and highway patrols, particularly along major routes and other vulnerable locations. The Command will collaborate with sister security agencies and other relevant stakeholders to ensure effective security coverage.”

Buba assured the public of the Corps’ readiness to provide adequate security throughout the celebration and urged residents to remain law-abiding, vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activity to the nearest security agency.
