Now entering a new impact phase, CTD 2025 is a defining moment for Africa’s workforce. Across industries, artificial intelligence, hybrid work models, and shifting economic realities are transforming how people learn, lead, and work. This year’s conference will serve as a continental hub for forward-thinking strategies, actionable insights, and collaborative solutions to equip organisations with the agility and resilience needed to thrive in an era of constant change.

Speaking on the significance of this year’s gathering, the president of LDNI, Olumide Ajomale, said, “CTD 2025 is more than a conference.

It is a catalyst for transforming Africa’s workforce. We are bringing the best and powerful minds together to ensure our talent is ready to learn, lead, and thrive in the face of change.”

This year’s agenda will feature keynote presentations from Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, head of Civil Service of the Federation; Fola Adeola; Ibukun Awosika; and other respected voices in leadership, innovation, and workforce transformation. Delegates will engage with four dedicated learning tracks covering AI digital tools and emerging L&D technologies; inclusive, agile and transformational leadership; workplace well-being and resilience; and strategic talent development for the future.

Conference chair, CTD 2025, Habiba Balogun, stated that “Champions of Talent Development (CTD) Conference is where leaders in the talent development ecosystem learn to convert their ideas into strategies and solutions, and gain the tools and networks to build a future-fit workforce for Africa and beyond.”

With Africa’s workforce projected to double by 2050, talent development has become a critical continental priority. CTD 2025 will provide practical, scalable solutions to pressing challenges, including how to harness the benefits of AI without excluding people and prepare leaders for an era of continuous change.

Founded in 2011 by Nigerian professionals inspired by the ATD Conference (USA), the Learning and Development Network International is Africa’s leading advocate for high-impact talent development. LDNI champions ethical L&D standards, drives organisational growth, and connects professionals across the continent to world-class learning opportunities.
