Liba urged the newly elected local government chairman to use their offices to serve the people of their respective local governments and to achieve the agenda of Governor Namadi administration.

In his speech, Alh. Suleiman Liba stated that the overwhelming support and interest shown to the All Progressive Congress (APC) during this local government election is a testament to the fact that the people of the state appreciates His Excellency’s giant strides at delivering the dividends of governance to the good people of Jigawa State and they have in turn, return their loyalty by submitting total support to the Governor and the APC.

In another light, Alhaji Liba thanked Governor Umar Namadi, for being amongst the first governors in the country to approve the N70,000 minimum wage even as we understand that the state is running on a slim budget, this shows that the Executive Governor understands the plight of the people.

Workers in the state should be very happy about this development.

Governor Umar Namadi, has in the past seventeen (17) months of his administration only demonstrated competent leadership and you can see how happy the people of the state are, we understand that things are a bit tough with everyone now but these are peculiar issues across the country and it is as a result of several years of neglect and mismanagement of resources by past administrations, but i can assure you all that the current administration is working so hard so as to put our days behind us.

Once again let me congratulate the Governor and the good people of Jigawa state for this new dawn.

I encourage all of us to be peaceful and law abiding and to most importantly, support our dear Governor, H.E. Umar Namadi, as things can only get better.
