The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced the commencement of the next phase of its 2025 recruitment exercise, directing candidates who successfully scaled earlier stages to complete a mandatory online process on its official portal.

In a notice released on Wednesday via its verified Facebook page, the Service stated that shortlisted applicants were required to visit the recruitment portal at https://updates.customs.gov.ng to fill out a designated form as part of the progressionj toward the final stage of the exercise.

According to the statement, the portal will remain active until 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 10, 2026, after which access will be closed.

The Service emphasised that the information submitted by candidates at this stage is crucial, noting that it will form part of their updated profiles for subsequent assessments, including the final interview and physical screening.

“All successful candidates are to ensure that the information provided is accurate and valid, as this will constitute their updated profiles for the final interview and physical screening,” the notice read.

Reaffirming its commitment to transparency, the NCS cautioned applicants against falling victim to fraudsters, stressing that the recruitment process remained entirely free.

“The Service wishes to reiterate that it does not solicit payments for recruitment or contact applicants through unofficial channels, as the recruitment process is strictly free and fair,” it added.

It further urged candidates to disregard any fraudulent messages or requests for payment, advising them to rely solely on official communication channels for updates regarding the exercise.

“Selected applicants should ignore fraudulent messages, avoid payments to individuals, and verify all information via Nigeria Customs Service official communication channels,” the statement warned.
