The documents mainly form EC8A, election results from polling units were admitted as exhibits by the court.

But, INEC, represented by Abdulazeez Sani, objected to the admissibility of the documents.

Mike Igbokwe who represented President Tinubu and his deputy, Kashim Shettima, also opposed the admissibility of the electoral documents.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) represented by Uwensuyi Edosomwan also raised an objection while all respondents said they would reserve their objections until the final address.

Further hearing in the petition has been adjourned to June 6.

The LP candidate, who came third in the presidential election that was won by the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, President Tinubu, said he would adduce more exhibits before the court on Tuesday to support his allegation that the election was rigged against him.

Earlier in the proceedings, Obi’s lawyer, Mr Patrick Ikweto, SAN, told the court that his client has a fresh application for which he sought permission to be allowed to move on the next adjourned date.

Ikweto equally apologised for serving the schedule of documents his client intends to tender before the court, late on the respondents.
