The ongoing Football Elite Exposure Camp (ELEX) oragnised by PAWAS Academy has signalled a deeper institutional shift driven by a new management team, which now includes development professionals committed to bridging sport and structured youth development.

Currently, in its advanced phase and taking place in Abuja, the April 5–10 camp is delivering an intensive programme that integrates football training with life skills, financial literacy, and career development. This expanded approach was reshaping how young athletes engage with opportunity, positioning them not only as players but as future contributors within broader socio-economic systems.

A defining feature of this transition is the collaboration with soccer star, Emmanuel Babayaro, whose professional journey from Nigeria’s youth system to top-tier global football, provides both inspiration and technical depth. His involvement has introduced players to elite-level expectations, bridging the gap between grassroots training and professional realities.

According to a terse statement signed by the PAWAS Director of Operation, Rinji Kwarkas, he posited that within this evolving model, leadership is not viewed as an outcome of success in football alone, but as a product of intentional development. As the academy aligns sport with education and life skills, it was creating pathways that respond to both aspiration and uncertainty within the youth population.

As anticipation builds toward the closing match at Abacha Barracks Football Pitch in Abuja this Friday, April 10, the camp stands as both a talent showcase and a statement of intent, one that positions PAWAS as a forward-looking institution within Nigeria’s grassroots football ecosystem.
