The Peoples Democratic Party in Enugu State has completed its strategic sensitisation initiative to reverse the low turnout in the ongoing Continuous Voters’ Registration Exercise in the state.
The party held the grand finale of the campaign yesterday at Amagunze, Nkanu East local government area, with a call on the citizens to see the collection of their cards as a top priority.
The delegation had earlier carried out the sanitisation campaign at Agbani, Nkanu West LGA.
At the event, the state chairman of the party, Martin Chukwunweike, represented by his deputy, Steve Orurua, stressed the need for the masses to obtain their cards and go out enmass to reward the state governor, Peter Mbah for the numerous works he has been doing in the state.
Chukwunweike noted that there was a need for the people of Nkanu East and other local governments to obtain their cards in order to preserve the present government in the state that has done so much for the masses.
He stressed that the governor has done so many things in education, health and other sectors, including building of smart schools and health centres in various wards.
