Nigerian-American entrepreneur, Mr Ismaila Yusuf, has urged Nigerians to remain calm, trust the government and maintain peace in their communities as the Christmas celebration approaches.

He stressed the importance of lawfulness, faith and economic prudence amid the prevailing national challenges.

In a statement signed, Yusuf, who is the managing director of Atuspay and the chief executive officer (CEO) of Atusbulk, xpress-Esim and Woskybet, appealed to Nigerians to celebrate the festive season responsibly, obey the laws and remain hopeful that the present administration would address the nation’s needs.

Yusuf said peace and respect for constituted authority were critical to national stability, particularly during periods of heightened social and economic pressure, calling on Nigerians to conduct themselves peacefully within their communities.

“I urge everybody to remain calm and believe in the government, and the government is doing its best,” he said. He also underscored the spiritual significance of Christmas, encouraging Nigerians to mark the season with faith and renewed belief, noting its message of sacrifice and hope.

“Nigerians should celebrate Christmas with faith and believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins,” Yusuf stated.

On the economic front, Yusuf advised Nigerians to exercise financial discipline during the festivities, urging them to cultivate a culture of saving and avoid unnecessary spending. He added that with Atuspay, Nigerians can send money to 190 countries worldwide.

“I advise Nigerians always to learn how to save their money for a rainy day. They should also be mindful of overspending,” he stated.
