All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has advised his major challengers in the race, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, to stop ‘being on the run’ and put an end to their presidential ambition.

Tinubu, who stated this on Friday in Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South-West local government area of Delta State, said Atiku, who is the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has contested for election severally without success, hence he needed to quit the 2023 presidential race.

Addressing the Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oboro-Gbaraun II, Aketekpe, Agadagba and the mammoth crowd at the Palace, Tinubu said: “How many times has Atiku been running?
Atiku is always on the run, tell him to go and sit down, enough is enough.”

On the the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, the APC presidential candidate said his statistics and economic analysis have always been wrong.

“I don’t want to mention names, he thinks statistics can give Nigerians food? He gives wrong statistics, wrong arithmetics, wrong economics. That is not what Nigerians need,” Tinubu said of Obi.

Tinubu, who was conferred with a chiftaincy title of Iyelawei of Gbaramatu Kingdom by the traditional ruler, promised to fulfil all promises, render services for the progress of Gbaramatu community, especially in the areas of seaport, road, university, industrial park development, assuring that he would not be far from the Kingdom.

“I will consult with the monarch regularly for the development of Gbaramatu Kingdom, work towards its economic development, make sure tomorrow is certain with a renewed hope and shall live with prosperity.

“Kabiyesi needs honest man, the man who knows the road, that is me. I will pay attention to the danger of pipeline destruction, gas leakage, which are not good for our health, the fish we eat. We will do something, keep our promises and carry you along.
