Media personality Priscilla Ojo has addressed public speculation about her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, and his ability to father children before their son was born.

Speaking in a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Ojo revealed that her husband faced unfounded rumours of impotence in his home country, Tanzania. She noted that the speculation was fueled by the fact that Jux, 35, had no children from previous relationships, unlike many of his peers in the entertainment industry.

“In his country, people thought he was impotent because he did not have a child or a ‘baby mama’ like many of his friends and colleagues,” Ojo stated. She described the singer as a disciplined individual who remained deliberate about his choice to wait until he was ready to start a family.

Ojo further disclosed that even after the birth of their son, critics continued to speculate, with some suggesting the couple used surrogacy. However, she dismissed these claims, affirming that their child was born naturally.

The couple, who tied the knot in high-profile ceremonies in Tanzania and Lagos in early 2025, welcomed their son, Prince Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala, in Canada in August 2025.
