A renowned philanthropist, politician, and businessman, Dr Sanusi Bala Turaki, has set to provide meals for 122,000 underprivileged individuals across 14 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Zamfara State throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement personally signed on Monday, Dr Turaki reaffirmed his commitment to giving back to his community, highlighting his long-standing dedication to humanitarian efforts.
“Some of my notable philanthropic efforts include awarding scholarships to students from various tertiary institutions in Zamfara State,” he said.
Dr Turaki has also been recognised for his contributions to the community, including his nomination as the Director of Finance and Supply at the North-West Development Commission.
His latest initiative aims to ease the hardship faced by vulnerable populations in the state during Ramadan, further solidifying his reputation as a key figure in philanthropy and social welfare.
