The Rivers State House of Assembly has screened and confirmed the immediate-past Chief of Staff, Government House, Engr. Chukwuemeka Woke, and four other nominees as Commissioners-designate.

Others are the former Commissioner for Social Welfare under Wike-led administration, Mrs. Inime Aguma; former Director of Finance and Administration, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Hon. Henry Ogiri; Nwafor Uchechukwu, and Kenneth Chisom Gbali.

However, Ogiri, who was a member of the State House of Assembly, was told by the lawmakers to take a bow and go.

Governor Siminalaye Fubara had on Thursday forwarded the names of the Commissioner-nominees to the State House of Assembly, for screening and confirmation.
