Senator representing Plateau North in the National Assembly, Pam Dachungyang, has called for restraint and an end to the #EndBadGovernance protests by youths across the country.
He said government had taken note of their demands and was working to meet them expeditiously.
Dachungyang in a statement issued by his special adviser on media, Eric Dung, said protest is an inalienable right of all Nigerians and the events of the past few days had further enriched the country’s democratic credentials.
The statement further said the senator is particularly impressed with the protesters in Plateau State, praising their display of maturity, decorum, orderliness rare display of religious tolerance and peaceful disposition since the protest started.
He therefore challenged protesters in other states to borrow a leaf from their counterparts in Plateau State whose orderly conduct has drawn them applause from far and near.
