Shettima, Gov Yusuf, Others Attend Funeral Of VP’s Mother-in-Law In Kano

Vice President Kashim Shettima, on Monday afternoon, attended the funeral prayer for his mother-in-law, late Hajiya Maryam Abubakar Albishir, in Kano State.

Hajiya Albishir passed away on Sunday evening at the age of 69, after a prolonged illness.

According to a statement by Stanley Nkwocha, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Information in the Office of the Vice President, Hajiya Maryam died in Kano and was laid to rest on Monday afternoon, in line with Islamic rites.

Earlier on arrival in Kano, Vice President Shettima was received by the State governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, and other top functionaries of the State government at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA).
