Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, in the early hours of yesterday , lost his step mother, Hajia Hauwa Abba Kormi.

Hajia Kormi who died after a prolonged illness at the age of 69, left behind five children, many step children and grandchildren.
According to a statement by his spokesman, Stanley Nkwocha, the Janaiza was held at 4:00 pm at Shettimari, Lawan Bukar, Maiduguri, Borno State.
“May the Almighty Allah forgive her shortcomings and admit her to Jannatul Firdaus,” he said.
